Norman Pattiz’s PodcastOne Improves Marketing of Brands

Norman Pattiz is the founder of PodcastOne. Both Norman and Tom Webster, the VP of strategy in Edison Research announced the results of studies concerning advertisement tests. The categories of the tests involved products and services in five major national consumer brands. The study which took the last half of 2016 showed a positive impact in the podcast advertisements. The products’ demand went high.

 

The study showed that a specific grocery brand had over 60% listeners mentioning it, an improvement from 7%.an improvement of 47% and 24% was evident in awareness of financial services products and using a lawn and garden product consecutively. The results also showed a growth of 6% in people who were likely to use the lawn and garden product. After the study, there was an increase of 76% for awareness a casual dining restaurant was. Edison Research divided the survey into different categories. One category was for well-known brands but was launching new messages on the products. Another group was a brand that was lesser-known and wanted to get famous. The advertisement campaign ran for 4-6 weeks in all podcasts, and the results showed that the podcast audience was interested in brand messages. The results also displayed an increase in willingness to purchase the products. Norman Pattiz said that the podcast is better than the traditional way of advertising.
